Learning at Peak School is fabulous. The teachers and all staff are supportive, kind, and caring. Our school is surrounded by greenery, providing great views of nature and wildlife. I am a proud parent of an alumnus and current student at Peak School. When we moved to Hong Kong we were looking for a small community school, and when we found Peak School, we looked no further. My children are excited to go to school every morning and come back home happy and full of joyful stories. Instead of homework, the focus is on the children to foster a love for reading, a key attribute of lifelong learners.This is cultivated by daily reading logs, library time, read alouds, author visits, and book week. Even the busy Principal finds the time to listen to stories read by new readers every week! Every child is met where they are at and there is no academic pressure. The teaching staff is caring and thoughtful. My older child is now in secondary school and thriving. The confidence, collaborative, and leadership skills she developed at Peak School has served her well, and the transition from a nurturing environment to a more rigorous one was relatively seamless.

I have very happy memories of my six years spent at Peak School. I made lifelong friends who often remark on how lucky we were to have attended Peak. The Upper Playground, which still looks very similar today, was a highlight of each day; a huge space that invited children to play, explore, make up games and run freely. The community was an intimate and caring one and we felt safe and supported, allowing us to learn and flourish as individuals. We may not have had air con in the classrooms back in those days but there were plenty of smiles and happy memories made. I am proud to now be a Peak School parent, as my son embarks on his own Peak journey.

Despite having only 30 of our 75 running club members present, the event saw over 700 participants from 10 ESF schools, making it a fantastic day of competition.

🌟 Peak School Shines at ESF Cross Country Meet! 🌟 . . . Our dedicated runners took on the challenge at KGV this Saturday, and they truly excelled! Despite having only 30 of our 75 running club members present, the event saw over 700 participants from 10 ESF schools, making it a fantastic day of competition.
🏅 Highlights: * Paige clinched 1st place in her race! 🥇 * Marco, Arjun, and Anika each secured impressive 2nd place finishes in their respective races! 🥈 * Many of our runners placed in the top 10, showcasing their determination and skill. * Several students achieved their personal goals of running the entire course without walking. 🏃♂️🏃♀️

🌟 Geopark Adventure Alert! 🌟 . . . 💧Peak School Year 4 students took an incredible trip to the High Island Reservoir Geopark in Sai Kung!
🪨Despite the chilly weather, our brave explorers ventured out to deepen their knowledge of how the Earth’s surface changes over time due to natural processes and human activities.
🌍They delved into the Earth’s structure, learned about impactful natural processes, and discovered systems designed to protect us from these forces.

🎭They explored 16 different storytelling mediums, from stop-motion animation and puppetry to costume creation, scriptwriting, and set design.
🏰Their creativity soared to new heights, bringing their original stories to life in the most imaginative ways.
🤭Parents were invited to witness these incredible performances and get a behind-the-scenes look at the magic. It was an unforgettable journey for everyone involved!

🎈To celebrate, we reflected on all the incredible learning and growth that has happened so far. For our young learners, 100 days is a big deal, and we made sure to mark it with a day full of excitement and joy!
🏃♀️We had a blast with tons of games, delicious food (a big shoutout to our fantastic mum volunteers!), and fun challenges like 100 sit-ups, 100 jumping jacks, and 100 rope jumps!
📚What an unforgettable day it was! Here’s to many more days of learning and fun ahead!

🥙This hands-on experience aims to inspire our young learners to make thoughtful, healthy choices and ignite their passion for taking positive action in their own lives!

🎉On January 22nd, they proudly showcased their entrepreneurial skills at a vibrant fair!
🍭Students across the school were invited to explore the fair, where they could purchase delightful items, enjoy tasty treats, and play exciting games to win prizes.
💰The best part? All profits from the fair will be donated to Refugee Union HK, an incredible organization dedicated to supporting refugees in Hong Kong through essential services, advocacy, and community-building initiatives. 💖

Building Our Community Day!🏠🔨 . . . What a fantastic event that brought students, teachers, and support staff together for unique learning experiences, coinciding with the celebration of the Chinese New Year of the Snake. 🐍
The day’s activities, ranged from Chinese crafts, sports, games and cooking. All the activities allowed children to exercise their agency in choosing what they wanted to participate in, making it a memorable highlight of the school year.
With three more BOC Days planned, the school community looks forward to continuing these engaging and enriching opportunities. 🌟
