Our PTA committee has benefitted from the guidance and leadership of our principal, teacher representatives, and parent representatives. Volunteers are always welcome! We rely on the kindness and generosity of our volunteers to make each initiative a success.
Key activities in the past have included fundraisers to invest in additional educational and community resources for the children, social events to foster a sense of community, and the support of Class Parents throughout the year. Over the years, our community has come together for memorable initiatives, such as: family gatherings, Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations, Read-a-thons, dance parties, bake sales, and so much more!
We have also created new ways to support our Green School goals with our Pre-Loved Uniforms programme, and Toys & Tales second-hand sales of used toys and books.
In recent years, the success of our PTA initiatives has enabled us to directly benefit our children. We have contributed to learning software and ICT, readers, author visits, mosquito traps, air filters, water purifiers, and occasional upgrades and renovations.
One of our greatest achievements has been to build and foster the strong sense of community that defines Peak School.
